The Golden Boy 2017 award is awarded to young players, under the age of 21, who shine and show brilliant performance

Previously, Italian sports media, Tuttosport, has released 24 names of young players who entered the Golden Boy Award 2017.

Famous names like Marcus Rashford (Man United), Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund), and Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain) entered the ranks.

Saturday (21/10/2017), elected three finalists who will be each other for the prestigious title.

The three players are Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele and Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.

Mbappe moved to PSG on loan from AS Monaco.

At the beginning of his arrival, Mbappe immediately showed maximum contribution on the front lines with Neymar and Edinson Cavani.

He was rumored to be moving permanently to PSG with a transfer value of 160 million euros.

Fellow Mbappe in the French national team, Ousmane Dembele, became the second most expensive player after moving to Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of 105 million euros.

However, Dembele is currently being smothered with a hamstring injury that has forced him to pull over until 2018.

Gabriel Jesus is on the list and “destroys” the dominance of French players.

The Brazilian showed upgraded charts this season with Manchester City.

He has scored six goals from seven appearances in the English Premier League this season.

Jesus also played well when replacing Sergio Aguero who should be absent due to injury.

Golden Boy 2017 award winner will be the successor to Renato Sanches who got it last year.
Golden Boy Award 2017 winners will be announced on 23 October 2017.
